Strategy, EPiServer e-commerce website & systems integration

JISC Collections is a membership organisation dedicated to supporting the procurement of digital content for education and research in the UK.
With a number of critical business processes operating offline, JISC Collections turned to Cubeworks to improve their performance using the web. Our first challenge was to really understand what the members and stakeholders needed from a new website, so we were engaged to run a series of workshops and interviews, after which we delivered our digital strategy.
With the direction set, we set about creating a new e-commerce website that provided significant value to the business. These included vastly improved purchasing and self-service account facilities to the members to help drive revenues and a central administrative interface integrated with in-house financial systems, which delivered major efficiency gains.
The result is a website that is now at the heart of the organisation driving everything they do. We were delighted the site was shortlisted for EPiServer Site of the Year 2010. We continue to work with JISC Collections to support their business-critical operations and further improve results.
