Cubeworks have designed an accessible website to promote the BRANCH project website on behalf of English Nature, the project's lead partner. The EU funded project is tasked with bringing together spatial planners, policy makers and scientists to enable wildlife to adapt to climate change in North West Europe.
Our design team built on the project's vibrant corporate identity to deliver a clean, modern website design that complemented the tone of the scientific subject matter.
As an EU funded project, Web Accessibility was a primary concern during the planning stages. Cubeworks' proven track record in this area was a key reason why they were selected during the competitive tender for the project. The resulting website conforms to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines and uses 'access keys' to facilitate simple navigation by users with disabilities.
Emily Ball, project manager at English Nature, praised the team's input: 'Cubeworks offered friendly and expert guidance, were extremely flexible and have continued to offer invaluable post-launch support.'
