English Nature
About the client
English Nature is the lead partner on the EU-funded BRANCH Project, the aim of which is to enable wildlife to adapt to climate change in North West Europe through the combined efforts of spatial planners, policy makers and scientists.
The challenge
To design a visually appealing and accessible website promoting the EU-funded BRANCH project. With project partners across North West Europe, the project website required English, French and Dutch versions.
The solution
English Nature, the project's lead partner was aware of Cubeworks' proven track record in website accessibility, on which great emphasis was placed in the planning stages. To this, Cubeworks added its design expertise to build upon the project's vibrant branding and developed a website that can be easily managed in-house. It also provides project partners with a secure, central resource to allow them to collaborate online and exchange ideas, photos and documents. The site is available in the English, French and Dutch languages.
The result
A site fully compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - disabled users, for example, can navigate using 'access keys' - and which was also well received by project partners. Visually, the site projects a clean, modern feel consistent with the project's brand and complementary to its subject matter.
