About Jesse

Jesse has worked with Alex and the team at Cubeworks since the company began in 2002. He's been involved in almost every project Cubeworks has completed over the years as art director, lead designer, UX designer and/or HTML / CSS lead.

Jesse specialises in major projects which present usability challenges and complex information. He's usually found with his sketchpad and Sharpie trying to draw his way to an understanding of how to best mix a wonderful user experience with an organisation's business goals. He believes visual design has a key role to play, but should always wait its turn until a solid understanding of user motivation, persuasive content and delightful interaction have been agreed on.

In his spare time, Jesse pursues a very keen interest in photography, and paints large canvases of abstract art which make his girlfriend cringe. He's had illustrations published multiple times in magazines and books, and was a featured artist in Advanced Photoshop magazine in 2008.
